The Children's and Youth Leisure Education Activities Instructor Course, certified by the Directorate-General for Youth (Direcció General de Joventut), provides students with the training needed to take on an educational role in leisure activities for children and young people. It equips participants with the skills to organise, lead and evaluate children's and youth leisure activities within an organisation's general programme, applying specific group facilitation techniques, placing particular emphasis on values-based education, and following basic safety and risk prevention measures.
- Children's and Youth Leisure Education Activities (40 hours in person + 10 hours online).
- Group and Educational Processes in Children's and Youth Leisure Activities (20 hours in person + 5 hours online).
- Techniques and Resources for Leading Leisure Activities (40 hours in person + 10 hours online).
- Professional Work Placement (160 hours).
- Preparation of the Work Placement Report (25 hours).
- Learn how to take on an educational role in leisure activities for children and young people.
- Develop the skills needed to organise, lead and evaluate children's and youth leisure activities within an organisation's general programme.
- Learn how to apply specific group facilitation techniques, with particular emphasis on education.
